The Kantha Shawl Collection

The brand new Turquoise Kantha Shawls collection is an ode to the ancient embroidery technique that has it’s roots prior to 1500BC. Created with the traditional Kantha stitching technique, the unique double faced vintage items of the collection are combining two different dhoti and sari fabrics of West Bengal which are held together with simple running stitch.

Often decorated with sparse sequence, the collectible Kantha Shawls of our winter collection, are created from soft silk fabrics printed with traditional block printed, screen printed and tie dye techniques. All the one of a kind items of the Kantha Shawl of the collection measure 100×200 cm.
